Over the past few weeks we have run a number “Directions” Workshops to reflect on the consulting works undertaken over the past 2 years and refocus project pursuits in 2021.
Workshops were held separately with the “Strategic Development / Management Support Team” and the “Project Management / Design Team” to collectively understand capability strength and to better align future pursuits.
These workshops were fruitful in sharing ideas, updating teams on the recent projects undertaken and better aligning pursuits with team capability. List of works undertaken by these teams over the past two years are now included on our Website.
Thanks to the Associates that participated, and also to both the Blue Duck Restaurant in Cottesloe and Workshop38 in Applecross for providing the perfect venues and catering for these events.
GFG Consulting presented at the IPWEA Function at the City of Canning’s office:
Site Contamination
Working on developing your old landfill and other legacy sites, contaminated land risk management considerations and costs.
The presenters were Glen Flood and Glen Alexander.
One of the case studies was the Centenary Park Project we worked on for the City of Canning, a former tip site.
This event was a huge success.
Thanks Glen Alexander!
GFG Consulting & Associates completed an assessment of the risks posed by draining water to the Swan Estuary from the redevelopment of the Miller’s Pool catchment near the Perth Narrows Bridge. This project aimed to establish planted swales to improve runoff water quality with a range of other best management practices incorporating climate change implications. GFG’s role was to undertake the hydrological assessment of the catchment, Carpark redesign, Civil design of WSUD BMPs to manage runoff quantity and quality and an assessment of the quality of waters and sediments in Miller’s Pool and their potential impact on the adjoining Swan Estuary.
